Flexibility
Weekly and
flexible short
break holiday rental (2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights) bookings are
welcomed. Weekly, 2 and 3 night
weekend breaks usually start
on Friday. Please note short breaks during peak periods such as
school holidays may normally only be booked within 28 days of arrival. To allow for an enhanced cleaning regime the
check-in time is from 4pm and check out time is by 10am.

Our rates for staying at Lantern House cover: Wi-Fi
broadband,
electricity/ central heating, complimentary bucket of
logs
for the wood burner during colder months, high
chairs x2, cots x2, bed linen
and towels.
You
will also find a complimentary pint of fresh milk, and an initial
supply of Nespresso pods and tea bags for
making a refreshing drink on arrival. For weekly breaks you
will also have the opportunity to savour some delicious Duchy Originals
organic biscuits or similar when these are not available.
Booking & Availability
Lantern House may be booked via Airbnb where you can also check availability.
Alternatively, you are welcome to enquire about making a direct booking by contacting Tricia

or mobile +44(0) 7928 809624) with your preferred dates and
the number of adults/ children and infants/ babies wishing to stay.
We
can then confirm with you availability, our direct booking preferential rate and payment arrangements,
which
can be made by BACs/ internet bank transfer (preferred payment method),
cheque or PayPal.
To confirm a direct booking you will be invited to complete a booking
form please click here to download the form) and
make either a £50 booking deposit, or the full rental payment if less
than 8
weeks before arrival together with a £100 cleaning/ damage deposit,
which will be refunded after your stay
subject to no damage and the cottage being left in a good order and
clean condition. Accidental minor breakages are not
charged.
Arrival details are emailed following payment of the rental balance.
We have very flexible arrangements
to
cover for late night arrivals or uncertainty as to your arrival time at
the cottage.
Please refer
to our direct booking
conditions and note that as per para 6 in the event of a cancellation by the lead
hirer no refunds of money paid (full payment is required 8 weeks before
arrival date) shall be given apart from the £100 cleaning/ damage
deposit unless the rental period cancelled can be re-let, in which case
a refund will be made up to the rental monies recieved for the re-let
or the original rental monies paid (less £50 to cover booking costs)
whichever is the lower. It is suggested you consider taking out
holiday insurance to cover the cost of cancellation.
