Cotswold Farm Park well worth a visit with kids (so much to do, lots inside if it's raining). Visit to Bourton-on-Water was lovely - great fish and chips. Great price for a lovely house!" The cottage is great and well equipped, and I did enjoy the log burner, which I would fire up most nights. It was a pretty warm time so a fan would be good in the Master Bedroom (fan since provided), but all in all a good place to stay and my husband loved the close proximity to the Rattlebone (local pub)." Need a proper handle for the grill pan [since remedied] & another pyrex dish for microwave would be useful [since remedied]. Information leaflets very useful and the store opposite [village Post Office] friendly service. We have no hesitation to recommend to others your cottage, but we never return to the same cottage/ area twice. The food at The Rattlebone is really good. Malmesbury & Tetbury are worth a visit, particularly for the butchers. The house is lovely. Our 5 month old loved the well stocked nursery! A word of warning - the staff in Tucks (local farm shop) are less than friendly (sorry to hear about this)." Rattlebone Inn has tasty food, real shame that the fire means is won't be open for a while [Owners' comment: the owners hope to reopen asap, fortunately there's another good pub in the village 'The Carpenter's Arms and others close by in the surrounding villages]. Arboretum well worth a visit if sunny. Nice pool at Malmesbury with family fun swin. Bristol close enough for day trips -had fun at the Zoo. However, we found if you do open the tap fully and position it in the 7-8 o'clock direction the water is very warm [Owners' comment: apologies, we have further adjusted the Boiler Control Thermostat].
