Beautiful CotswoldsLantern House is a charming spacious period cottage situated in the heart of the lovely village of Sherston in the Cotswolds, which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our holiday home provides you and your family with self-catering accommodation at an affordable price in a great location.Take the opportunity to relax and recharge through experiencing the wonders of the beautiful Cotswolds. We're just 90 minutes by car or train from London, but it is totally different from our capital city and offers some of England's best countryside and honey-colour stone centuries old picturesque Cotswolds villages and towns like Sherston and Bath. Coronavirus SafeguardsFor flexibility over guests' arrival and departure time and social distancing we have self check-in and check-out arrangements, which are emailed in advance together with helpful information on staying in the cottage and area.We have also introduced a number of important safeguards to help protect our guests from Coronavirus. These include a risk assessment process and taking proactive actions to minimise the risks, such as, an enhanced cleaning and laundering regime - a signed cleaning checklist will be left for confirmation this has been done. Extra cleaning supplies are provided under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom cupboard for guests to use as needed. Please note non-essential frequently handled items have been removed, such as, the welcome folder, reading and local area books/ leaflets, magazines, scatter cushions (but not sofa cushions), and toys. If a guest tests positive for Coronavirus or exhibits symptoms please refer to UK NHS information about what to do. In recognition of following government and industry Coronavirus guidelines, and ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social/ physical distancing, we have been awarded the 'WE'RE GOOD TO GO' certificate by our National Tourist Organisation. Home from HomeEquipped to a very high standard Lantern House offers extremely comfortable home from home accommodation for up to 5 adults/ children and 2 babies/ toddlers under 2yrs (double bedroom, twin bedroom, single bedroom and a purpose equipped nursery / cot room). All the bedrooms have beams and quality pocket sprung mattresses with white cotton bed linen. Relax also in the comfy lounge seating around the traditional inglenook fireplace and why not use the wood burner already set, and with a complimentary bucket of logs to keep extra snuggly during the colder months. For Christmas & New Year the cottage is tastefully decorated to help give that extra sparkle for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable visit to the Cotswolds.  To the rear is a private and secure courtyard garden where you can relax and eat out in finer weather and children can play. |
