We're just 90 minutes by car or train from London,  but it's a "world of difference" from our capital city to some of England's best countryside and honey-colour stone centuries old picturesque Cotswolds villages and towns like Sherston and Bath.

Home from Home

Equipped to a very high standard Lantern House offers extremely comfortable home from home accommodation for up to 5 adults and 2 infant/ babies.  It has 4 bedrooms (double, twin, single and a purpose equipped nursery bedroom with black out blinds), all with beams and quality pocket sprung mattresses with white cotton bed linen.  

Relax also in the comfy lounge seating around the traditional inglenook fireplace and why not use the wood burner with complementary logs to keep extra snuggly during the colder months.  For Christmas & New Year the cottage is tastefully decorated to help give that extra sparkle for a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable visit to the Cotswolds.

To the rear is a private and secure courtyard garden where you can relax and eat out in finer weather and children can play.

Flexible weekly breaks and short break holiday and business rental (2, 3 or 4 nights) bookings are welcomed all year round and include a welcome gift, a unique souvenir jigsaw puzzle of Lantern House on Sherston's famous annual July Boules competition day.  Tea and fresh milk are also provided for a refreshing cup of tea on arrival.

For weekly breaks you will also have the opportunity to savour some delicious Duchy Originals organic biscuits.
