Booking Conditions
  1. Weekly holiday lettings are from 3pm Friday to 10am the following Friday.  Short Breaks are from 3pm Friday (2 or 3 nights) to 10am day of departure and 3pm Monday (4 nights) to 10am day of departure.  Short breaks may not be available during certain periods.
  2. The maximum number of adults and children occupying the property shall not exceed 5 unless otherwise agreed.   
  3. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to confirm the booking.  The final balance must be paid 8 weeks before the holiday start date together with £100 damage deposit refunded to you by cheque one week after your departure subject to any necessary deductions.  Accidental breakages are not charged for.  For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the holiday start date, the full weekly rental amount must be paid in full together with £100 damage deposit.
  4. Non-payment of the balance of the total holiday cost by the due date shall be deemed to be cancellation of the booking by the Hirer.
  5. Payments shall be made by cheque payable to Mrs P Evans quoting Lantern House and the booking period on the back of the cheque and posted to: 12 Cotswold Close, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, GL8 8RD
  6. In the event of a cancellation by the Hirer after full payment has been made, the final balance is only refundable if the holiday period is re-let.  It is advised you take out holiday insurance to cover the cost of cancellation.
  7. No pets or animals of any type are permitted on the premises.
  8. No smoking anywhere inside the cottage.
  9. All damages and breakages are the legal responsibility of the Hirer, and their cost shall be refundable on demand. However, minor damages or breakages will not normally be charged.
  10. The Hirer is responsible for the property and expected to take all reasonable care of it. All equipment, utensils etc must be left clean and tidy and the property must be left clean and tidy at the end of the holiday period.
  11. Baggage and personal belongings are at the Hirers risk at all times.
  12. All information is given in good faith and every endeavour is made to ensure it is correct. However, no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage resulting from such information.
  13. The Hirer is responsible for any act, neglect of default on their part and no responsibility can be accepted for any loss, damage, expense, accident, injury or inconvenience to persons arising from the letting.
  14. If, for any reason, the property becomes unavailable through events beyond the Owners’ control (for example fire, theft, damage, delay of building works, drought, interruption of utility supplies or similar) then it may be necessary to cancel the booking. If no acceptable alternative can be found, then all monies paid will be refundable in full, but the Hirer will have no further claims against the Owners.
